The Monster Kitchen & Bar is a visually stunning space with a monolithic shattered terrazzo floor and an eclectic design which grabs the eye and makes this one truly unique space. The Salon & Dining rooms tell the story of Australian immigration 1940s to 1980s, evident through the extensive collection of original artworks and furniture.
The space is available for exclusive use events with seated and standing options. Music wise you can choose your own playlist or go with the flow and let us choose for you.

Set in the sustainable and award-winning NewActon Nishi complex, Palace Electric features eight fully-licensed cinemas and a stunning Prosecco bar for you to indulge in both pre and post film! Electric was recently presented with The People’s Choice Award for ‘Canberra’s Favourite Entertainment Venue’ for the third year running, and we will always endevour to be the people’s choice by presenting a mix of international and local art-house films, quality blockbusters, family favourites, operas and special events, as well as Palace’s renowned film festivals.

The pathway to the tea ceremony is the metaphor for ROJI salon. At ROJI, clients enter a retreat from the outside world. They receive the highest level of care and current styling advice. Clients are treated with Aveda products containing pure flower and plant essences and offered a range of teas served in individually handcrafted teapots. Cellar Door is a weekly (free event every Saturday from 3-5 pm) wine and produce market showcasing some of the best of what the Canberra region has to offer. 
 
Supported by Canberra District Wine Association, Cellar Door is a fantastic opportunity to buy wines from local makers in the iconic location of NewActon.

Grab a souvenir glass, taste the latest drops, and buy at cellar door prices. Wine stalls rotate each week with complementing stalls like fresh fruit and veg, flowers, cheese, chocolate and books.
